Anti-Money Laundering Agreement

Customer agrees and acknowledges: a) Identity Verification. To assist the government in combating the financing of terrorism and money laundering, GMI must obtain, verify and record the identity of each person who opens an account with GMI. When a customer opens an account, GMI must collect the following information: 1) Customer’s name; 2) Date of birth; 3) Permanent address; and 4) Identity document number. GMI may verify the customer’s identity by checking credit or by requiring the customer to provide a government-issued identification card or other identification document. b) Monitoring. GMI may monitor account transaction activity in order to detect or investigate money laundering activities. c) Prohibited Banks. GMI may not transact business with the following entities (“Section 311 Entities”): Banco Delta Asia; VEF Banka; Commercial Bank of Syria; Syrian Lebanese Commercial Bank; Myanmar Mayflower Bank; Asia Wealth Bank; any banking institution in Myanmar, including foreign branches; and any subsidiaries of the above entities. This means that customers may not deposit money directly or indirectly from an entity listed in Section 311 into a GMI trading account. Customers may also not directly or indirectly transfer money from a GMI trading account to any entity listed in Section 311. If we learn that any entity listed in Section 311 is associated with a customer's GMI trading account, we will take appropriate steps to prevent such access, including terminating the account if necessary.
